Meet Lori E. Mathieu, Au.D.

Dr. Lori Mathieu has been providing expert hearing care to Plattsburgh and the surrounding areas for the past 27 years. Prior to her work at Adirondack Audiology Associates, she provided audiological care at Sunnybrook Medical Center, the teaching hospital for the University of Toronto where she enjoyed providing a variety of testing protocols including intraoperative neurophysiologic monitoring, tinnitus and communication strategy workshops as well as hearing assessments for a busy ENT practice. Dr. Mathieu graduated from Plattsburgh State University in 1982 with a BA in Speech and Hearing Science. In 1984 she graduated from Syracuse University with a MS in Audiology, and shortly after graduation obtained her certificate of clinical competence in audiology. In 2000 Dr. Mathieu decided to pursue her Doctorate in Audiology and graduated in 2002 from the Arizona School of Health Sciences, AT Still University. Dr. Mathieu is committed to providing compassionate quality hearing care to her patients by improving their quality of life using only the most advanced and current testing, verification and counseling techniques as well as superior hearing aid technologies. Dr. Mathieu is a member of the American Academy of Audiology, Academy of Doctors of Audiology, the New York State Speech Language and Hearing Association and The Tinnitus Practitioners Association. She holds a current audiology license and hearing aid dispensing license in the State of New York. Dr. Mathieu is also proud to serve her community and has been an active member of the Plattsburgh Rotary Club for over 20 years. She enjoys spending time with her family and enjoys gardening, walking, biking, and a variety of water sports.
