Hearing Aid Repair
Hearing aids contain small components, so it’s common for them to need repairs over time. You might try to turn on the hearing aid in the morning and notice there's no sound, or the battery door might become loose. These issues can arise even with proper care. If you face a problem that needs fixing, bring your hearing aid(s) to your hearing care provider. They can identify issues with malfunctioning hearing aids. Some minor repairs can be completed quickly in the office, while others may need to be sent back to the manufacturer. Your hearing professional will help you understand what type of repair is needed if your hearing aid isn’t functioning correctly.
If you are a current patient and have hearing aids not fitted in our clinic, we are glad to attempt repairs on them. We service most major hearing aid brands and can inform you in the office if your brand is one we handle. New hearing aids typically come with a warranty. If your warranty has ended, we can still repair most hearing aids for a small fee. Depending on the brand, this repair may include a new one-year warranty. Your hearing professional will share specific information when you bring your hearing aid to the office.
