Our commitment to access

Adirondack Audiology is committed to making our website and hearing care information accessible to people with disabilities. Our goal is for visitors to find information, contact an office and request care in a way that works for them.

Help using our website

If you have difficulty reading a page, using a form or accessing a document, please send us an accessibility question through our contact form or contact one of our offices. You may use a relay service when calling.

Please include the page address, what you were trying to do, the difficulty you encountered and your preferred way to receive a reply. If helpful, tell us which browser or assistive technology you use. You do not need to provide a diagnosis or medical records to report a website accessibility issue.

You may also write to Adirondack Audiology, 11 Hammond Lane, Suite C, Plattsburgh, NY 12901. Please ask for assistance with the information or service you could not access, or for information in an alternative format.

Accessibility standards and review

We are working toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA as our technical accessibility goal. These guidelines address features such as keyboard use, text readability, image descriptions and accessible forms.

Accessibility is an ongoing effort. A complete evaluation of every page, downloadable document, video and third-party service has not yet been completed, and we do not claim full WCAG conformance at this time. Embedded maps, chat, payment services and other external tools may have different accessibility features. If any part of the website creates a barrier, please contact us so we can work with you on another way to obtain the information or assistance.
